Opening their doors at the foothills of the Carpathians, in the center of the Sibiu-Brașov-Sighișoara triangle, the Cincșor Guesthouses offer authenticity, relaxation, nature and culture, intertwined with the opportunity to explore the surrounding touristic areas and the local lifestyle. The former Evangelical school and the former Evangelical parish house have been carefully restored, decorated in the spirit of the Saxon tradition and converted into guesthouses. The authentic decorative designs, the modern comfort and the care for details add up to a pleasant and relaxing atmosphere.
‘The feeling of having the chance to be part of the historical continuation of this building – starting in the 1600, there is a full list of the Catholic pastors and Evangelical priests who had lived, together with their families, in this house – has given us enough motivation to begin its restoration and beautification. From a damaged and deserted building, today the former parish house became an architectural jewel, with spacious rooms, Transylvanian Renaissance frescoes, discovered during restoration – now open for visitors and guests. In the area of the former stables, now can be found spacious rooms and apartments, opening directly to the Parish House’s ample garden. Culture and nature – what can be more fascinating?’, speak the hosts of Cincșor houses.
