DESCRIPTION
In the middle of Romania, at the end of the road and of modern civilization, you’ll find our house: Șleaul Mândrului – “The Saddle of the Outlaw”. A secret heaven in the Carpathian Mountains, above the world. Located between Transylvania, the Bran castle of Dracula and Wallachia, yet very close to all of them.
Villa Hermani is a guesthouse located at an altitude of 1,080 m, in Măgura mountain village, in the middle of the Piatra Craiului National Park. The guesthouse is operated by Carpathian Nature Tours – a tour operator specialized in wildlife watching.
The accommodation capacity of the guesthouse:
- 17 rooms;
- Spacious dining area with terrace;
- Conference room for about 25 people.
The dishes are made with vegetables grown in the garden of the guesthouse. The meat, milk and eggs are bought from the locals, and the flour is ground at the Saxon mill in Vulcan commune. Naturally, the menu also contains mushrooms and wild berries picked from the surrounding areas.
