Day 1:
Meeting in Bușteni in the morning. Cable car to Babele Cabin. From Babele Cabin, we hike on the Bucegi Mountain plateau and descend the Gaura Valley to Poarta din Bran village. Duration: 6-7 hours, long hike, average level of effort, offering unforgettable sights, total (approximate) level difference: descent 1,700 m. Accommodation in Bran.

Day 2:
Transfer to Făgăraș Mountains – Porumbacu de Sus (140 km). The hike begins: we climb to Negoiu Cabin: duration 4-5 hours, average level of effort, total (approximate) level difference: ascent 800 m. Accommodation at Negoiu Cabin. Dinner.

Day 3:
Breakfast. We climb Romania’s second highest peak – Negoiu – 2,535 m: duration 3-4 hours, average to difficult level of effort, climb 1,000 m. Packed lunch. We continue our hike towards Bâlea Lake: duration 4-5 hours, average to difficult level of effort, beautiful sights, total (approximate) level difference: ascent 1,200 m / descent 1,100 m. Accommodation at Bâlea Lake Cabin. Dinner.

Day 4:
Breakfast. Bâlea Lake Cabin – Capra Lake – Vânătoarea lui Buteanu Peak – Vaiuga Valley – Bâlea Lake Cabin. On this occasion, we will climb another peak exceeding 2,500 m, Vânătoarea lui Buteanu (2,507 m), which offers us one of the most beautiful panoramas over the Romanian Alps. Packed lunch. Duration: 4-5 hours, average level of effort, total (approximate) level difference: ascent 500 m / descent 500 m. Accommodation at Bâlea Lake Cabin 3*.

Day 5:
Breakfast. Bâlea Lake Cabin – Podragu Cabin, located in the close proximity of the main ridge. Duration: 5-6 hours, average level of effort, total (approximate) level difference: ascent 1,100 m / descent 1,000 m. Accommodation: Podragu Cabin.

Day 6:
Breakfast. Podragu Cabin – Moldoveanu Peak and back. We will climb on Romania’s rooftop, Moldoveanu Peak (2,545 m), as well as on Romania’s third highest peak, Viștea Mare. Duration: 6-7 hours, average level of effort, total (approximate) level difference: ascent 500 m / descent 500 m. Accommodation: Podragu Cabin.

Day 7:
Breakfast. Podragu Cabin – Podragu Valley – Victoria. Duration: 5-6 hours, average level of effort, total (approximate) level difference: descent 1.400 m. Transfer to Brașov.
