DESCRIPTION
A 4 day trip focused on bear watching and tracking in uncontrolled conditions, with a local English speaking bear researcher. GOOD level of fitness required. Also you need to be able to cope with the lack of sleep for the bear watching days. This tour involves field trips before sunrise and after sunset, all guided by an English speaking wildlife researcher. He will take you to places where you have maximum chances to spot wild bears, and will ”translate” the different marks left by wildlife in their natural habitat. Still – as we are talking about wild bears, and since we don’t use food to attract them – there are no guarantees you will see bears during your trip!
Accommodation in a basic-but-comfortable local guesthouse, in double rooms with private facilities. Your host is very hospitable and the food is delicious!
