DESCRIPTION
Part of the Oaș-Gutâi-Țibleș volcanic mountain range, Gutâi Mountains are the perfect hiking destination. Although their maximum altitude exceeds 1,400 m only on Gutâi’s highest peak, the mountainous features of this massif are highlighted by its elevation differences of 500 – 1000 m between the surrounding basins. The marked trails have various degrees of difficulty, providing outdoor experiences for the less experienced, as well as for the adventurous.
