Creastă-Budești Trail

DESCRIPTION

Trail: Creasta Cocoșului – Drumul Mlăcii – DJ 109 F – Valea Oanţa – Gura Râielor – Budești

Creastă – Budești Trail is an epic trail, connecting Creasta Cocoșului with Piemontul Văratecului and Budești village, crossing various types of terrain. From its total of 22 km in length, just a little more than 4 km runs on asphalt. The rest is part enjoyment, part off-road travel. The road is riddled with numerous panoramic viewpoints, pastoral foot paths crossing spruce forests, landscapes pervading, on clear days, to far, far away countries. The trail awakes the travellers’ curiosity, promising to unravel a completely new path to enter Cosăului Valley, different from the known one: more adventurous, less travelled, more idyllic.

  • Spectacular landscapes;
  • Adventurous downhill cycling;
  •   Less travelled paths;
  • „Sfântul Nicolae” (Saint Nicholas) wooden church – UNESCO monument in Budești-Josani (1643).
