We invite you to discover Eco-Romania with ACTIVE TRAVEL – Your tailor made travel partner in Romania!

CITY-TOURS & ADVENTURE-TOURS is a project powered by Active Travel Romania and offers unique, small group tours and vacation travel packages from general tours to wildlife viewing and wilderness trips, in many regions of Romania.

CITY-TOURS & ADVENTURE-TOURS offer you 3 types of itinerary:

CULTURAL TOURS utilize only established lodgings that offer higher standards of comfort. These are our most accessible trips and in consequence, our most popular. Our itineraries visit many of the same delightful locations as the Adventures, but with a greater emphasis on amenities, and are suitable for people of all ages.

ADVENTURE TOURS include some camping interspersed with nights in more comfortable accommodation. They are for those who desire to get further afield and involve varying degrees of wilderness travel, for example, hiking, biking, trekking, canoeing, rafting.

SOLO WALKS – SELF GUIDED ROMANIA TOURS a complete service package including transfers, with much more flexibility than group/guided tours - half the price of guided, no minimum group size, better discovery, any travel date possible, expert local support, professional planning.

Our services are recommended in the Lonely Planet – Romania guide book (2010/2011), Rough Guides book and by the Spanish National TV (TVE) – Travel Program “Españoles en el Mundo”.
