DESCRIPTION
Every year, the Wild Berries Festival takes place at the beginning of autumn, when the locals in Coșna commune of Țara Dornelor pick nature’s fruits. The festival includes a wide range of events, sporting as well as cultural. Tourists have the opportunity to see the culinary skills of Coșna housewives, who know how to turn wild berries into real delights, and will be able to taste and buy the best jams, cordials, drinks and cakes made from wild berries, picked from the local flora.
This festival also showcases folk dances and songs, and the “golden couples” and the most zealous housewives are granted prizes.
