DESCRIPTION<\/strong><\/h4>\n

This trail is for all tourists or visitors, with an average level of difficulty. This trail\u2019s point of departure is Greci village, continuing through the park on Racova Valley, climbing up the Dealul cu Drum towards Cartalu Peak.\u00a0 Then it passes this on the right side, climbing down on a cusp to Ditcova Valley, tracing a horseshoe with an exit towards the steppe pasture that lies in the foothills of the mountains, and continuing along the park\u2019s boundary up until its entry.<\/span><\/p>\n

The Carabalu trail highlights the differences between the great types of habitats in the park, between the areas where human activity is scarce and the inhabited areas, where granite exploitation took place in the past.<\/span><\/p>\n

European significant flora and fauna species can be observed, like catchfly (<\/span>Siliene compacta<\/span><\/i>), iris (<\/span>Iris sintenisii<\/span><\/i>), dwarf dianthus (<\/span>Dianthus nardiformis<\/span><\/i>), Iberic turtle (<\/span>Testudo graeca ibera<\/span><\/i>), Dobrogea lizard (<\/span>Lacerta trilineata<\/span><\/i>), four-lined snake \u2013 Dobrogea dragon (<\/span>Elaphe quatorlineata<\/span><\/i>). Mun\u021bii M\u0103cinului National Park\u2019s administration can provide guidance, using the \u201cblue circle\u201d trail, with a duration of about 3-4 hours with interpretation.<\/span><\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>
