DESCRIPTION
The “Bolovanul” Cup is a ski competition organized by Hunedoara County Public Mountain Rescue Service in the Retezat mountain, at about 2,000 m altitude, below Peleaga Peak. With an almost 40-year long tradition, the amateur ski competition closes the winter sports season in the Țara Hațegului – Retezat ecotourism destination.
The competition consists of two trials designed for experienced skiers: special slalom for about 150 meters and downhill, for about 2,000 meters.
