DESCRIPTION
This contest is a real challenge for the participants, many of whom are tourists coming in vacation to Țara Dornelor. According to the organizers, this Kayak relay race is meant to raise awareness regarding the recent initiatives of micro-hydro-power plant construction on rivers and mountain brooks in all parts of the country. This proves that nature must be protected and cared for to enjoy it, us and future generations.
All the equipment will be provided by the organizers free of charge. The contest will take place on the Dorna River, in the vicinity of the pedestrian bridge in Vatra Dornei.
