Bucovina Acoustic Park

DESCRIPTION

The event takes place at the bottom of “Veverița” (Squirrel) slope, in a wonderful location, atop Vatra Dornei town. For three days, Țara Dornelor resounds with rock, folk and jazz concerts, and the youngsters also enjoy outdoor activities, like hiking, zipline, or they can navigate in kayaks on Dorna and Bistrița rivers. The event is organized by Suceava County Council, “Bucovina” Cultural Centre, together with Vatra Dornei Town Hall and “Platon Pardău” Cultural Centre.

“The purpose of this festival is to turn Bucovina Acoustic park into a gateway for Moldavia towards Transylvania and for Transylvania towards Moldavia, music being, through its divine meanings, a window to universality”, considers Ion Drăgușanul, the event organizer.
