DESCRIPTION
Traditional Casa is open to all visitors, whether they are in Pădurea Craiului ecotourism destination for half a day or several days. It is warm and welcoming, like grandma’s house, simple and unsophisticated, but it provides guests with the comfort they need during a well-deserved holiday. The tourist complex is located in Runcuri hamlet, part of Roșia village, on a hill ridge, from where you can see a large part of Apuseni Mountains and witness rather special sunsets.
The Traditional Casa Complex consists of three guesthouses: Casa Mare (The Big House) (Traditional), Casa de la Stele (The House Near the Stars) – under restoration, and Casa cu Dud (Mulberry House).
In Traditional Casa Complex guests sleep on mattresses, for which bed linen are supplied. Each house has its own bathroom, shower, toilet, hot and cold running water.
In the vicinity of the guesthouses there is a large campsite with access to the outside bathrooms (toilets, showers, hot / cold running water).
The simplicity of the wooden structures, some of them with thatched roofs and unique internal decorations, will reveal the joys of a simpler lifestyle, seemingly forgotten in the rush of everyday life. Here you can enjoy the lifestyle your grandparents told you stories about, where hay mowing, animal herding, wood cutting, mushroom picking, scything or horse cart ploughing are still daily activities. The serenity of this place, the countless possibilities to actively relax or just rest, will make you want to return, looking for a world which is lost, but still close.
