DESCRIPTION
This is a folk event that highlights the customs and traditions revolving around the celebration of Christmas. A special moment is the collective carol, when all those gathered sing carols in the streets of Rosia village, heralding the Birth of Jesus Christ.
The carolers’ parade brings people out, charmed by the beauty of the carols, of the traditional bands and by the frolics of masked characters, who try to outsmart one another.
This event attracts various folk music dance ensembles and singers, bands of carol singers and folk ensembles from Roșia, Beiși, Ștei, Tilecuș, Luncșoara, Căbești and others. These bring on stage the living, authentic and traditional spirit, sacredly preserved in the villages that are part of Pădurea Craiului ecotourism destination.
