DESCRIPTION
“Casa de la Mara” tourist complex consists of three houses with a traditional Maramureș look, made of wood, offering all the comfort needed to spend an unforgettable stay in the Eco Maramureș ecotourism destination. All units have a recreation area with a flat-screen TV, cable channels, and a private bathroom with a shower. Whether you visit with family or friends, Casa de la Mara provides a suitable place to relax or a great starting point to explore this beautiful area at the foot of the Gutâi Mountains.
The complex is located a short distance from the national road that connects Baia Mare to Sighetu Marmației, in Mara, in an enchanting garden, with fruit trees and green grass, with a pond that gives charm to the whole location and a dreamy landscape.
From here, you can begin hiking to the natural sights in our area: Cocoșului Ridge, Chendroaiei Lake, Tatar Gorges, the salt lakes in Ocna Șugatag, Crăiască Forest. Start a pleasant walk around the village or visit the UNESCO wooden church. Admire the local architecture and get acquainted with the life of the village. Other points of interest for tourists visiting Maramureș are located within a short distance: Merry Cemetery in Săpânța, Bârsana Monastery, and the town of Sighetu Marmației.
