DESCRIPTION
The Tușnad Eco Bear Festival is an annual event held in Băile Tușnad, Romania, that combines cultural, educational, and entertainment activities with the aim of promoting harmonious coexistence between humans and bears. During the festival, participants can take part in various activities, such as handmade product fairs and educational workshops.
A central element of the festival is the TusnadEcoBear conference, which brings together experts to discuss and propose science-based solutions for improving human-bear coexistence. The conference aims to assess the current situation of Romania’s brown bear population and raise awareness about the challenges of human-bear coexistence for the benefit of the local community.
